Chaudhary, who also former general secretary of Nepali Congress, has long been afflicted from asthma and heart ailments.[break]
His well-wisher Shanker Poudel informed RSS about his demise this morning.
Chaudhary, who was born to his father Leelaram and mother Krishna Maya in Dang, had quitted party politics and entered the Panchayat with his supporters in 2037 BS.
He had also served the country as an education minster in the Panchayati regime.
He is survived by wife, two sons and one daughter.
His mortal body would be kept on the premises of Nepal Academy from 11.00 am for final tribute and would be cremated at Pashupati Aryaghat today.
