KATHMANDU, March 15: The Cabinet has recommended Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal for appointment as a member of the National Assembly of Nepal.
The decision was made during a meeting of the Council of Ministers of Nepal on Sunday to fill a vacant seat in the upper house.

The position is one of the seats that are filled through nomination based on the recommendation of the Cabinet.
As per constitutional provisions, the final appointment will be made by the President of Nepal following the government’s recommendation.
