Ncell hands over car, 1 million cash to winners

KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Ncell, a leading telecom operator, on Friday gave away a car and one million cash to two lucky winners. A press statement issued by the company said Mina Kumari Jaisi of Tanahu, Ghaansi Kuwa won the car whereas Sanskriti Kharel of Sukhanagar, Butwal bagged the cash prize. [break]



According to the statement, Sanskriti is a student and Jaisi is a housewife. “I feel that using Ncell SIM was a blessing in disguise for me,” the statement quoted Jaisi as saying during a function organized for prize distribution at Ncell´s corporate office.[break]



Ncell had launched the scheme on September 16, 2012 with the objective to reward its customers with attractive prizes in the festival season.







Ncell on Monday had handed over the prizes to the lucky winners of ninth week. Mithun Kumar Chaudhari from Kailali won KTM Duke Motorbike and Ramin Kumar Mandal of Siraha won home maker appliance, the statement added.



"Such schemes will encourage subscribers to use their own SIM cards and not give it away to others,” Sanju Koirala, corporate communication director of Ncell, said.
