BIRATNAGAR, Dec 8: CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal on Saturday ruled out the possibility of getting a way out of the ongoing political stalemate in the country even in the second extended deadline given by the president.

Talking to reporters at Biratnagar Airport, Khanal warned of ousting the incumbent government through protests as it is overlooking the national consensus.[break]

He said that they will bail the country out of the ongoing political wrangling through protests as the ruling parties are not serious on forging the national consensus.

Khanal, who was heading to Dhankuta to inaugurate district convention of the party, also opined that President Dr Ram Baran Yadav must not endorse any ordinances sans political consensus among the parties.

On Friday, President Dr Ram Baran Yadav had extended the deadline for the second time for the formation of consensus government, by six days. The political parties are failing to find common understanding for the formation of consensus government.
