KATHMANDU, Aug 25: Chairman of newly formed CPN-Maoist Mohan Baidya has said both the President and the Prime Minister have no legitimacy in the present situation when the nation is running without parliament.

Opening a two-day painting workshop organised by the All Nepal Fine Arts Association on Saturday, leader Baidya said an inter-conflict regarding the rights and duties of the President and the PM has pushed the country towards uncertainty.[break]

"At present, only judiciary, the Nepal Army and the Nepal Policy have legitimacy ," he said.

Stating that the country has entered into the political and constitutional vacuum, CPN-Maoist Chairman Baidya claimed that reinstatement of the Constituent Assembly or holding fresh elections could not give a way out to the nation from the present crisis.

"Only all-party roundtable conference is the best solution to the present political and constitution stalemate," Baidya said.
