Army School thrashed Greenland Children Academy Higher Secondary School by nine wickets while Galaxy edged past Rajan Memorial International School by nine wickets to reach the final.[break]
Greenland elected to bat and was all out for 79 runs in 18 overs as Gunjan Yadav took three wickets for the Army School. Yadav was later declared the man-of-the-match. Sandeep Sherchan (23 runs) was the highest contributor for the Greenland. Suman Kunwar took two wickets for the host.
Chasing the 80-run target, Niraj Shrestha scored 32 runs off 20 balls to guide the Army School to victory in 9.1 overs losing only one wicket. Abhishek Poudel remained unbeaten for 26 runs to seal the easy victory for Army School.
Army School will take on Galaxy in the final on Sunday. Galaxy defeated Rajan Memorial by nine wickets.
Rajan Memorial elected to bat and put up 96/6 in allotted 20 overs. Pramod Khatri scored 31 runs and Santosh Thapa added 24 runs for Rajan Memorial.
In reply, Aadil Khan scored unbeaten 35 runs for Galaxy Public to seal the victory in 11.5 overs losing only one wicket. Aakash Bista also remained not out with 23 runs for Galaxy while Nabin Budhathoki added 27 runs. Budhathoki, who also claimed a wicket, was adjudged the man-of-the-match.
