Funeral ceremony for late Koirala to be held on Wednesday

KATHMANDU, Feb 9: The funeral ceremony of the late Nepali Congress President and Former Prime Minister Sushil Koirala will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday.

The meeting of Central Working Committee (CWC) of the Nepali Congress held in Sanepa has decided to this effect, said a party source.

The mortal remains of Koirala will be kept for condolence at Tripureshwar-based Dhasharath Stadium from 12 noon on Tuesday. Currently Koirala's body has been kept at NC Central Party Office in Sanepa.

Asthmatic bronchitis-ridden  Koirala breathed his last while undergoing treatment at TU Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj at 1:50 am today.
