The Maoist student leaders said they were forced to lock the campus as the administration did not address their demands. They had put forward an eight-point demand that included elections of Free Student Union at the campus.
ANNISU-R President Dasharath Bhandari warned of strident protests in the days ahead if the demands were not met immediately.
