KATHMANDU, June 12: At least seven people were killed and 15 others injured after a passenger bus crashed in Buchchakot of Namobuddha Municipality-2 along the BP Highway in Kavre district on Friday, police said.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Robin Bista, who was present at the scene, all seven victims died on the spot. The injured have been rescued and transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.

The bus, bearing registration number Ba 3 Kha 8398, was en route from Banepa to Sugaure via Kharpachok in Roshi Rural Municipality when the accident occurred at Buchchokot.
Authorities said the cause of the crash has not yet been determined. Further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
