After vandalizing the municipality office, the protestors forced the municipality staff out of the office and padlocked both the entrance doors to the office.
The locals also shouted slogans against the chief of the municipality Yuvaraj Dahal and demanded his resignation. They said Dahal delayed to bring the fire engine, which had already been repaired, because of the greed for commission.
