Locals informed police after seeing the body of a woman aged around 25 years in a rotten condition on the north side of the Chandi bridge.[break]
The identity of the women wearing red salwar kurta has not been ascertained yet, said Police-Inspector at the Area Police Office, Chandranigahapur, Sheikh Adalat.Police found a mobile set without SIM card near the body.
Police suspect that someone might have killed her and investigation into the case was underway, according to police.
