A meeting of the office-bearers and organization department of the party held at the official residence of the prime minister at Baluwatar Wednesday, gave final touch to the agendas of the general convention and the next meeting which is to be held on Thursday will approve it, said Spokesperson of the UCPN-Maiost, Agni Sapkota.
Sapkota added the agendas will be sent to districts after making them public.Adopting the concepts put by the district coordinators and state coordinators in a workshop organized few weeks ago, today´s meeting has prepared agendas of general convention and procedures of approval, Sapkota added.
The meeting also decided to organize the general convention in the fix date which could not be held for the past 22 years.
The meeting also decided to give pace to the talks and discussions held between political parties for crisis resolution saying the political crisis has been intensified.
The meeting came to the conclusion that the solution could not come out because the NC and CPN-UML moved ahead by keeping the government in focus rather than political outlet, and decided to make strategies accordingly.
The meeting also discussed that the government should not resign unless a package deal is reached among parties.
