Anil Yonjan, 34, and Ayush Chhetri,22, of KMC-34, Bhimsengola were held just before they left for Sharjah on an Air Arabia flight.
Police said they confiscated USD 64,800, UAE Dirham 16,620 and Qatari Riyal 5,500 from them, adding that further investigation was underway.
