According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Om Bahadur Rana, the deceased are 80-year-old Lasi Gyalbo Ghale and his wife.
The District Police Office said detailed information on the fire incident is awaited as the village where the incident occurred is remote and lies about 38 kilometers west of the district headquarters.
Meanwhile, the name and address of the people killed in the incident of fire that occurred in Dhunche, the district headquarters, last evening have been ascertained.
According to the police, the deceased is Nurpu Chhiring Tamang of Dhuunche-8. Tamang was the office assistant at the District Development Committee (DDC) office, Rasuwa.
Property worth millions of rupees was damaged by the fire that engulfed Tamang’s house. Three houses were completely damaged by the fire.
