The deceased has been identified as Nawaraj Dhakal,35, of Borlang-8.
The mini-truck (Na.2Kha.6268) was heading towards Masel VDC carrying members of a marriage procession from Borland of Gorkha.
The mini-truck, also carrying the bride and groom, fell 20 meters below the road.
Seven people were injured in the accident. The injured have returned home after treatment.
Meanwhile, one person died on the spot in a road accident that took place at Mahadaiya Tapanpur of Mahottari on Wednesday night.
Rupesh Shah,17, died on the spot when he was hit by a bus (Na.3Kha. 3679) heading towards Loharpatti in the district.
The bus driver Bam Bahadur Banjade and the bus have been impounded, police said.
The deceased hails from Janakpur Municipality-10 in Dhanusa district.
