Laxmi Gurung, 40, of Pokhara-18 died on the spot while another unidentified person breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Manipal Teaching Hospital.
Among the injured, five are in critical condition. The injured are receiving treatment at Western Regional Hospital and Manipal Teaching Hospital, according to police spokesperson Bishworaj Adhikari.
Bus driver Shiva Sapkota, who also owns the bus, fractured his arm in the accident.
