KATHMANDU, Jan 1: The commission formed to investigate the incidents of September 8 and 9 has lifted the travel restriction earlier imposed on former home minister Ramesh Lekhak.

The probe commission decided on Thursday to revoke the restriction that had barred Lekhak from traveling abroad and from leaving the Kathmandu Valley.
According to the probe commission, the restriction was lifted after Lekhak recorded his statement before the panel.
