CHITWAN, Feb 7: The Tiger Tops resort has resumed operation inside the Chitwan National Park (CNP).

The resort resumed operation around two weeks after the government extended operating licenses of four other resorts inside the park.

Seven resorts inside CNP had suspended operations since last July following a controversy over the renewal of their contracts.

Tiger Tops and four others -- Chitwan Jungle Lodge, Temple Tiger, Island Jungle Resort and Narayani Safari -- have now resumed services after they cleared their tax dues.

Machan is in process of resuming operation while there is no certainty about resumption of Wild Life Map, according to CNP.
