Three Nepalis held with arms

TANAKPUR, Uttarakhand, Feb 17: Police have arrested three Nepalis along with arms near Tanakpur bridge bordering Nepal, police on Wednesday said.



Kalu Sarki, Gulab Bohara and Dil Bohara were arrested when they were roaming in the area on Tuesday night and the patrolling police personnel asked them to stop.



During checking, police also recovered a gun of 12 bore, a cartridge and a ´khukuri´ from their possession. During investigations, it was found that Sarki has a criminal record in Nepal while Bohara was sacked from the Nepal Amy.



Police has booked them under Indian Arms Act.
