While five of those critically injured were rushed to India, others with minor injuries received treatment at Mahakali Zonal Hospital.
Police said that the accident may have occurred due to over-load.
"We had asked the driver not to carry more passengers. But he did not listen to us," said Bhuwan Singh Dhami, one of the injured.
