DOTI, March 9: A teenage girl died after being buried by a mound of soil while digging earth for household plastering in Doti district.
The deceased has been identified as 16-year-old Elina Singh, a resident of Gwani in Sayal Rural Municipality–2. According to the District Police Office, the incident occurred around 9:48 am on Tuesday at a place called Gausil, near her home, while she was digging soil.

Singh died on the spot after the soil mound collapsed and buried her, police said.
A four-member police team led by Police Inspector Suwarna Chand has been dispatched to the incident site for further investigation.
