KATHMANDU, Sept 21: A meeting of the thirteen student organizations has agreed on reducing fees fixed by the colleges by Rs. 15,000.

At the meeting held at the Central Office of the ANNFSU, they agreed to this as the increase of Rs. 50,000 to 100,000 in engineering studies had contributed in denying access to students.[break]

The meeting also agreed to move ahead for increasing scholarship to students or seeking sources for providing loans to students wanting to study engineering.

ANNFSU Chairman Madhav Dhungel said if the agreement between universities, the Ministry of Education and 13 student organizations is implemented, they will allow smooth admission in universities where it has been obstructed.
