Stories of women fighting adversity

KATHMANDU, May 30: National Campaign Nepal (NCN) has started several programs this year too as part of ‘Global Action Week on Education’ with a slogan—‘Literate women, literate country’.



At a press conference organized by organizations and representatives associated with the campaign on Tuesday, it was informed that 100 stories of women and children studying despite tough struggle have been collected and some of them will be published in the book named “Ma Hunuko Katha”. [break]



Campaign Chairman Dirghanarayan Shrestha said the book will be released amid a program by President Dr Ram Baran Yadav on Tuesday.



He said this campaign started in Nepal in 2003 and has been advocating education for all, increase in education budget and good governance.
