CMS caddie golf on Wednesday
KATHMANDU: The fifth edition of CMS All Nepal Caddie Golf Championship will be held at the Royal Nepal Golf Club on Wednesday. Altogether 65 caddies from across the country will compete in the annual event being sponsored by ISME Medical Studies. According to Nagender Pampati, the chairman of ISME Private Limited, the event is being organized with the aim to contribute to the development of golf in the country and scout for new golf talents from among caddies.
The event will be played over 18 holes in the first round and cut will be applied after 18 holes with the top 20 golfers and ties making to the final rounds. The final rounds will be played over nine holes. The top two finishers will secure berths in the Surya Nepal Golf Tour events. The event carries a total cash prize of Rs 100,000, of which the top three finishers will bag Rs 18,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.
