The sub-committee headed by Dip Kumar Upadhyaya includes parliamentarians Keshav Nepal, Hridayesh Tripathi, Pramod Gupta, Anil Jha, Rabindra Adhikari and Surita Kumari Sah.

The meeting has concluded that the public enterprises are incurring heavy losses as there is weak management, increased political interference, overstaffing and absence of proper accounting of incomes and expenditures.

Though the chiefs of all public enterprises were asked to be present in the meeting, General Managers of Nepal Drugs Limited, Nepal Telecom, Gorkhapatra Corporation and Citizen Investment Trust were not present in the meeting. The meeting has directed the absent General Managers to furnish reasons behind their absence.
