Norvic's health clinic at TIA

KATHMANDU, June 5: The Norvic International Hospital has set up a primary health clinic at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) targeting foreign passengers.



The clinic was inaugurated by Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma Sunday afternoon. [break]



The government had made a formal request to the hospital to establish the clinic at the country´s only international airport which had no health clinic until now. All the services provided through the clinic, the hospital said, will be free of cost.



The hospital will also provide free ambulance service to the patients at the TIA.



“If the patient comes to our hospital, he will get free checkup for the first time,” Public Relations Officer of the hospital, R P Mainali said. A doctor, a nurse and a health assistant will remain in the health clinic from 7:00 am till 11:00 pm.
