NC proposes 15th general convention from May 11–14 after elections

Nepali Congress has proposed holding its 15th General Convention from May 11 to 14, with the final decision to be endorsed by a forthcoming Central Working Committee meeting.

KATHMANDU, Dec 2: The Nepali Congress (NC) has proposed holding its 14th General Convention from May 11 to 14.



A meeting of the party’s Central Work Performance Committee held on Friday proposed the dates for the party’s 15th General Convention. General Secretaries Gagan Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma, who were present at the meeting, had earlier been advocating for a special general convention to be held from J1anuary 11 to 12.

A Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting will later officially endorse the proposed dates.
