Mahato-led Sadbhavana appeals Jha, Tiwari for reunification

KATHMANDU, April 18 : Sadbhavana Party led by Rajendra Mahato, has formally appealed to Nepal Sadbhavana Party, led by Anil Kumar Jha and Nepal Sadbhavana Party (Gajendrabadi), led by Bikash Kumar Tiwar, for party unification.

Mahato-led Sadbhavana on Friday sent formal letters to Jha and Tiwari stressing the importance of establishing a strong united party willing to fight for the rights of Madhesh and Madheshi people.


 

Central committee meeting of the Sadbhavana Party held on March 25 had formed a five-member taskforce to negotiate with the parties for reunification after originally splitting from the Nepal Sadbhavana Party 25 years ago.

The taskforce led by Sadbhavana Co-chair Laxman Lal Karna includes General Secretary Manish Kumar Suman, Devendra Prasad Yadav, Santosh Mehata and Yogendra Yadav as members. Following the decision, taskforce coordinator Laxman Lal Karna wrote letters to Jha and Tiwari on Friday
