“The main motive behind organizing a program like this is to help establish Laxmi Bank as the bank that cares for its customers by understanding their needs in the best possible way,” said Amit Sharma, human resource manager at the bank.
The program largely focused on negotiation skills that lead to a win-win situation for both the bank as well as the customers. Altogether 15 officials from Laxmi Bank and five participants from Gorkha Brewery participated in the program. The program comprised of interaction skills that is expected to help officials to interact with the customers in handing them with best deals.
“The program is of great importance in helping the bankers to create value in every kind of transactions through collaborative modes of interaction,” said Professor Gita Bajaj. She further added that the program focused on conflict understanding skills to conflict resolving skills, process and methods of negotiations and learning the act of dialogue.
With the growing number of banks and cutthroat competition in the banking sector, the program of this kind is one of the effective tools to establish money and public relation as a correlative, she added.
“By organizing such program the bank is taking a leap toward becoming a progressive bank,” said Professor Subir Verma, adding, “This program is organized for the first time in Kathmandu and will definitely prove out to be an eye-opener for every corporate sector.”
