Officials from Kathmandu Valley-based land revenue offices, survey departments and Guthi Sansthans were present in the interaction held at CIAA office in Tangal. Karki had inquired about the implementation status of the recommendations made by the Rawal Commission and encroachment of public and government land. [break]
According to a statement issued by CIAA Spokesperson Krishna Prasad Dhungana, the interaction was held in view of the complaints from various quarters about service delivery from these offices.
On the occasion, Karki drew the attention of officials to the principles of chain of command and code of conduct. Besides asking the officials to maintain integrity at work, Karki also directed them to immediately start working towards addressing the concerns of service seekers.
On the occasion, newly appointed CIAA Commissioner Keshav Baral directed the officials present to maintain up-to-date records of all activities in their offices and avoid making unnecessary expenditures.
