Inaugurating the Nepali Congress – Tanahun District Convention, Vice President Poudel argued that it was now his turn to lead the party.
Poudel reminded that he had repeatedly supported party’s senior leader Sher Bahadur Debua and incumbent President Sushil Koirala in the past, hence they should now support him.
He further claimed his candidacy for the party’s presidency reasoning it was meant to put an end to factionalism in the party. RSS
