Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Bir Bikram Rayamajhi inaugurated the branch amid a function on Thursday.
The branch will provide its customers with all banking services, says a press release, adding that the bank will provide services from 9:45 am to 6 pm.
The bank has further announced that it has collected deposits of Rs 1.55 billion and issued loans worth Rs 1.6 billion over the first five months of its operations, posting a profit of Rs 29 million.
The bank is also planning to open five more branches in this fiscal year and add 10 new branches every year.
