The 15-inch notebook has higher pixel density and gives 5 million pixel display with 2880x1800 resolution. "With the higher density customers cannot discern individual pixels and can view high quality image," said Tarun Bajracharya, director of Evo Store.
According to the company, the new Retina Display reduces glare while maintaining incredible color and quality. Due to the Retina Display, it has a 29 percent higher contrast ratio than a standard MacBook Pro display.
The notebook has incorporated In Plane Switching (IPS) technology--a technology that provides wide viewing angle, fast response speed and a simple pixel structure. It gives a wide 178-degree view of everything on the screen, so the users see the difference at practically any angle.
"The MacBook has replaced the traditional hard drive with a flash storage system. The flash storage system is more reliable compared to hard drive as there is a very small chance of it getting crashed and relieving the users from the need to keep back up," said Bajracharya.
The flash storage of the notebook comes in 256 GB capacity. "We can upgrade it to 512 or 768 GB upon request from customers. It will take 10 days," said Bajracharya.
The notebook comes with a fastest quad core processor from Intel i.e. Intel core i7 that performs tasks faster. The stereo surround sound is another attractive feature of the notebook.
The MacBook Pro is equipped with an incredible amount of battery power as it has battery with a capacity of 95 watt hours. The battery supports a seven-hour normal use time on a full charge and 30 days standby time.
The notebook is equipped with the latest three-stream 802.11n Wi-Fi5 and Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology that keeps the users connected.
The notebook features iCloud facility which allows its users to store their personal documents. In addition, it supports SDXC card, HDMI, USB 3 and Thunderbolt, a device that facilitates high-speed data transfer.
The company has priced the MacBook Pro with Retina Display at Rs 235,000 and the price goes beyond if the customers want it customized. The company provides a one-year warranty and after sales service from Apple Authorized Service Centers at Bakhundol, Lalitpur and Durbar Marg, Kathmandu.
