So, if you don’t have a good budget or if you are too lazy to get dressed and spend your Valentines Day out, here’s a good way to compensate it.

Get spiced up with Chicken Gharana
Ingredients
Chicken breast sliced into four long pieces
Shahi jeera (cumin seeds)
Paste of ginger, garlic
Cashew, peanuts
One egg
Black salt.
Method
Add cumin seeds to the paste and wrap the chicken in it. Pierce the chicken with thin bamboo sticks longitudinally. Heat a pan and spread some butter on it and put the sticks on it. Let it grill till golden brown on each side. Serve with mint chutney, dry cherries and fresh salad.

Get cozy with some warm French Onion Soup
Ingredients for one bowl
Three onions, peeled and cut into halves
Soya sauce
Worcester sauce
Deep fried chopped onions
Grated yak cheese
A slice of bread
One egg yolk
Salt and white pepper
Method
Boil two cups of water and add onions, salt and white pepper to taste, soy sauce and Worcester sauce. Let it simmer until it becomes brown-black. Toast the bread and add the grated cheese over it. Put the yolk and fried onions in the serving bowl and filter the onion stock over it. Add the bread with cheese on it.

Dessert time with Shahi Toast
Ingredients
One butter toasted bread slice
Layering – milk, sugar, yellow color (optional).
Method
Heat the milk with sugar and color in a low flame until it turns into a thick paste. Put bread on the serving plate and pour the paste over it. Garnish with dry cherries, coconut powder, sprinkle few drops of rosewater on it. Serve hot.
