The 10-day festival is organized by Arghakhanchi Chamber of Commerce and Industries and National Folk Duet Foundation.
The festival aims to drawing local and international tourists, promoting local products and conserving local folk cultures.
CA members Pushpa Bhusal and Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, former minister Dhundi Raj Shastri were present at the inauguration ceremony. National artistes will entertain the visitors during the festival.
There are 55 stall displaying different local products and cultures. Over 200,000 people are expected to visit the festival.
