The proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards the education and other basic needs of sexually abused children who are currently being rehabilitated at Antardristi, said Yogita Chapagain, the Program Manager. In its three centers located in Kathmandu, Hetauda and Pokhara, Antardristi is currently rehabilitating and counseling 18 children.

“We’ve been creating awareness about child sexual abuse in schools, colleges and communities. We also take care of sexually abused children, counsel them and reintegrate them into their community,” says Chapagain, adding that the organization was established in 2003 to focus on the mental health needs of children who have gone through such abuse.
