The key issues being poverty and breaking the circle of inequality, empowerment and progress of women and girls, young people, reproductive health and rights, healthy environmental and healthy people, aging, and urbanization-planning for growth.[break]
In order to apply, all films should be digital and under 10 minutes.
If made in another language, English subtitles should be added.
It is mandatory that the film focus on one or more of the seven key issues.
Each team or individual can submit up to two entries but all participants are required to fill in the online entry form.

The jury will include representatives and from the film community, human rights organizations and individuals who are active in promoting cultural events, all chosen by 7 Billion Actions and the Foundation 10.12.48.
After 10 submissions are selected, they will be subject to online voting from February 16 to March 6, 2012 and the three winners will win cash prizes of US$4,000, US$2,000, and US$1,000 respectively.
