Kamala Gole, 30, killed the husband of her husband´s younger sister at around midnight, walked through the night and surrendered before the District Police Office at five in the morning, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dhiraj Pratap Singh.[break]
Kiran Ghishing, 32, of Gairimudi-4 entered Gole´s room through the window at 11 in the night and tried to rape her. Gole said she killed him self defense with a khukuri she had kept under her pillow. Gole´s husband has been working in Malaysia for three years and she was staying alone with her four children.
Gole claimed Ghisihing had repeatedly made advances in the past and knocked at her door Wednesday night. He then forced himself into the room through the window when she refused to open the door.
Police said Ghishing was wanted for public offense charges.
