England set Nepal a 185-run target after posting 184/7 in their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Group C match at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.

KATHMANDU, Feb 8: England have set Nepal a challenging target of 185 runs in a Group C match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup underway on Sunday.



After winning the toss and electing to bat at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, England posted 184 for 7 in their allotted 20 overs.

Jacob Bethell top-scored with 55 runs, while captain Harry Brook struck a 32-ball 53, both registering half-centuries against Nepal.


For Nepal, Dipendra Singh Airee and Nandan Yadav claimed two wickets each, while Sher Malla, Sandeep Lamichhane and Karan KC took one apiece.
