The protest program will start from July 29. Under the protest program, it is going to obstruct vehicular movements in Baneshowr for half-an-hour at 4 pm on 31 July and 1 August, on August 2, 3 and 4, half-an-hour chakka jam in all over the country, torch rally on 3 August and capital banda on 4 and 5 August from 6 am to 10 am.
The YAN is also planning to wave black flags and obstruct the government´s programs. According to YAN Chairman Mahesh Basnet, the protest programs have been launched at a time when a possibility of forging consensus between the political parties is getting slim and as there is no alternative to protest, to oust prime minister.
Basnet also advised the government to provide fertilizers to the people than providing state facilities to the VIP´s and depleting the state coffers.
