BIRATNAGAR, June 29: CPN-UML leader KP Sharma Oli has blamed Non-government Organizations (NGOs), operated with the financial assistance of foreign donors, for fomenting instability in the country. [break]

He said this while speaking at a talk programme organized here on Saturday by Nepal-India Friendship Association, Morang Chapter on ´Constituent Assembly (CA) Election and Challenges´.

A new constitution-framing bid could not materialized for it was inapt to set strength of the first CA with 601 members, he said, adding that the number of members for the upcoming CA has been reduced to 491 after forging consensus among the political parties.

Association Central Chairperson Mahendra Yadav presided over the programme.
