A meeting of the party office bearers and the organization department took place at the Prime Minister´s official residence at Baluwatar on Tuesday ended with this decision. The meeting urged other political parties to take part in the discussions with honesty.
Talking to media persons following the meeting, party spokesperson Agni Sapkota said the meeting also focused on the issues of party´s general convention scheduled to be held in the month of Magh.
The entire party line has been urged to gear up for making the general convention going to be held over after two decades successful, he said.
Stating that consensus and a way out to the existing political crisis was not possible as the Nepali Congress and CPN ( UML) only concentrated on the state power rather becoming serious towards ending protracted political deadlock, Sapkota said a future strategy for consensus will be prepared after discussions with other political parties.
The meeting also discussed the issues that the Prime Minister would not step down until and unless the political parties reach to a package deal for consensus, according to Sapkota.
The next meeting scheduled for tomorrow is expected to finalise the working procedures of the general convention, he said.
