Royal scored 144 runs in 20 overs. Opener Tajuddin Halwai scored 36 runs. All other batsmen put up a poor performance except Shambhu Khan and Afak Sheikh.
The pair entered the pitch after all other wickets were taken in 15.5 overs. Royal had scored only 98 runs but the two men lead the team to 144 runs in the remaining overs.
Subendu Pandey, Sahila Rana, Arun Thapa and Siddhant Shahi took two wickets each.
In reply, Rockers were limited to 131 runs with five balls remaining. Opener Subendu was caught by Nabin Shahi in the first ball. Rohit Rana and Ankit Pnadey, however, were able to score 43 and 23 runs respectively.
Royal´s Nabin took the highest four wickets.
The winners bagged a purse of Rs 5,000 while the runners-up received Rs 2,500. Man-of-the-series Rehan Khan of Royal received a 21-inch color TV.
Meanwhile, Royal´s Nabin was adjudged the man-of-the-match in the final game and he bagged a DVD.
Saubhagya Bhusal of Adarsha School was declared the best batsman for his half century while Hari Pandey who took 10 wickets was named the best bowler. They received a mobile set each.
Altogether 19 teams, including a team form Lucknow, participated in the tournament organized by Nepalgunj Youth and sponsored by Nagarik Daily.
