KATHMANDU, Feb 3: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav will lead a 27-member delegation in his maiden four-day official visit to India beginning February 15. Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Sharat Singh Bhandari will accompany the president.

A cabinet meeting held in Singha Durbar on Wednesday took a decision to this effect.

Talking to media persons after the cabinet meeting, Minister for Information and Communications Shankar Pokharel said the meeting also decided to form a committee under the chair of Minister for Agriculture and Cooperatives Mrigendra Kumar Singh to control the outbreak of bird flu. The government´s decision comes after fresh cases of bird flu were detected in various parts of the country, including Pokhara.
