Civil Mall is organizing live concert of singer Sugam Pokharel on Tuesday. The mall has erected two 16-foot Christmas trees in its premises to attract visitors.[break]
“The stage where the artist will perform will have a 3D background, demonstrating Christmas theme. Besides, the shops at the mall will be providing special Christmas discount,” said Nishant Shrestha, head of marketing and communications, at Civil Mall.
The mall has also been decorated completely that provides the customers a warm feeling during Christmas.
“We are expecting total footfall of around 30,000 on Christmas day,” said Shrestha.
United World Trade Center (UWTC) at Tripureshwar has a very unique style of celebrating Christmas. This year, it is organizing a ´snowfall party´ wherein customers can dance in the artificial snowfall.
“We are organizing the snowfall party wherein customers can enjoy artificial snowfall and enjoy dancing free of cost,” Sandeep Hirachan, managing director of UWTC, told Republica.
In addition to that, customers will get attractive cash discounts along with special gift hampers -- rice cookers and Lava mobiles from Chaudhary Group -- many surprise gifts. According to Sherchan, the host will be asking different questions during the event and those who give the right answer will get gift hampers. “Besides, the best single dancer and best couple dancers will also get attractive prizes,” he added.
Similarly, a 30-foot Christmas tree, probably the biggest in the capital, has been erected on UWTC its premises. Visitors at the mall will have the opportunity to take photographs with Santa Claus.
“Shops at UWTC will provide 10 to 40 percent discount on the occasion of Christmas. For children, we will be organizing free face painting and tattoos during the day,” said Hirachan.
Likewise, City Center at Kamalpokhari is also organizing musical program to celebrate Christmas. It has decorated the entire mall in Christmas theme.
“We have hired DJs for the musical program. Most of shops at the mall are providing special discount on the day,” said Pampri GC, mall manager of City Center.
Like other malls, City Center has also erected a 25-foot Christmas tree in its premises.
