The fire was said to have spread from candle while students were studying in the room.
Locals along with army and police squads doused the fire with big efforts.
According to District Police Office, Kalikot, the fire also caused damages to computer, photocopy machine and other physical goods in Kalpana Photo Studio adjacent to Laxmi Hotel.
Last year too, two children and a police died due to fire that spread from a candle in Milan Daju bhai Hotel in Myanma Bazaar.
