“Earlier, I had to stay in Livang for several days to get my works done. But I had my works done in two days this time around, thanks to the extra hour services provided by the DDC office,” said Rith Bahadur Ala, a service seeker, who was at the DDC office on Saturday.
Service seekers are greatly relieved as the DDC office has been providing extra-hour services, said Ghanashyam Aacharya, a rights activist.
Meanwhile, DDC has also issued strict instructions to VDC secretaries to remain at office during standard working hours. “We will immediately take action against errant secretaries if we receive complaints from service seekers,” said Regmi.
