With this facility, Nepalese citizens working in US can directly remit their earning through proper banking channel to Nepal at any 35 branch of EBL.
Global Bank in Fikkal
KATHMANDU, Feb 8: Global Bank Ltd started transactions from its new branch in Fikkal, Ilam, from Monday.
“Along with the new branch in Fikkal, the bank is also preparing to open its branch offices at Kupandole and New Baneshwar,” the bank said in a statement.
The bank has been providing 365 days banking service with evening counters to its costumers. The bank has extended its branch network to 25 places across the country in just three years of its operation. The bank has a network of 29 ATMs.
NIBL opens 35th branch in Gaighat
KATHMANDU, Feb 8: Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIBL) opened its 35th branch in Gaighat on Sunday. The new branch will be linked through ABBS (Any Branch Banking Services) to all other 34 branches across the country.
The key services provided by the branch include deposit and credit facility, foreign exchange, retail banking, import, export, letters of credit, guarantees and remittances among others.
“The opening of new branch is in tune with the bank´s policy to expand its network and provide exceptional banking services within all major pockets of the country both within and outside the Kathmandu valley,” the bank said in a statement.
In the coming days, the bank plans to increase its access to rural areas as well as urban centers, whereby it can provide banking to all.
