Australian embassy honors Australia-educated Nepalis

KATHMANDU, Dec. 5: The Australian Embassy in Kathmandu has honored some Nepalis who gained university degrees from Australia and contributed in Nepal.



Yadav Sharma Bajgain, Dr Samir Mani Dixit, Sanjiv Rana, P.R Upreti and others were conferred on the Australia Alumnae Excellence-2012 amidst a function in the capital on Wednesday.



The award was given by Education Secretary Suresh Man Shrestha.



On the occasion, Secretary Shrestha lauded Australian help in Nepal´s educational development.



Similarly, Australian Ambassador to Nepal, Susan Grace said Australia would continue assistance in the sectors of education and development in Nepal.
