The invitees were prepared to start the wedding procession of Prakash Gurwachhane Magar, 30, of Risku VDC-5 in the western part of the district but Magar suddenly died. [break]According to eyewitnesses, Magar said he was being choked by his own saliva and died immediately after, Saturday morning. Family members did not even had time to rush him to hospital.
Bhim Bahadur, one of the neighbours of the deceased, said Magar had spent Friday night, the eve of the wedding, revelling with his friends and had gone to bed early in the morning on Saturday. “Upon returning from toilet in the morning, he complained of being choked by saliva. Within a few minutes, his pulse stopped,” said Bhim Bahadur. Locals suspect that Magar might have died due to cardiac arrest.
Magar was going to marry a girl from the Risku VDC-4.
